Andrew Somoza

Andrew Somoza is a highly successful entrepreneur who propelled Vendormate to rapid growth and has a long track record of driving organizational success through direct sales, business development and channel management, taking advantage of expertise that has been developed over more than 15 years in technology service sales, both domestically and internationally.

A member of the start-up team at Vendormate, Somoza successfully led sales efforts that resulted in a customer base of 1,400 hospitals in just four years. He achieved this through bootstrapped sales management, including hiring and managing the sales team, defining and implementing sales management processes, and direct sales to key accounts. He led Vendormate and its sales team to a successful acquisition in December, 2010.

Prior to Vendormate, Somoza was the Southeast Regional Sales Manager for Lancope, an Internet security software company. He held various sales management positions with Borland Software Corporation and Starbase Corporation. Somoza is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Management.
